I wanted to post this just in case anyone comes across this issue. This was the problem.

I just updated my version of wordpress to the latest release. This blog site was for my company, I was the admin and there were many people in our communications that had the same access. One of the other admins published a blog and when it was clicked, it would take the reader to a “Sorry Blog not found page”. So just like everyone else I went through the check list:

I made sure it wasn’t a plugin issue, by turning off plugins.
I checked if the post setting was different from a post setting from another post.
I also made sure there wasn’t any strange characters that were pasted into the blog.

This is when I came to the issue. Apparently one of the other admins pasted into the “Title” box of the blog directly from Microsoft Word (ver. 2003 in her case). It pasted all sorts of strange numbers that threw off the permalink within the post, because the permalink in my blog pulls the %postname%. So I went into the permalink in the post copied the link into text edit and then deleted characters. I then re-copied the new url from text edit back into the permalink box of the post. It all work perfectly.

I hope this helps someone out.
