Only one file appearing in hyper-cache directory

  • Thanks for the great plugin. However I have a problem.

    I have two WordPress sites using the same theme, but on different servers.

    I have installed Hyper-cache on both sites with identical settings. On one site hyper-cache works beautifully, in the other site only one .dat file appears in the wp-content/cache/hyper-cache/ directory, and then nothing else happens, except sometimes an empty _archive.dat file also appears.

    Any ideas what the problem could be

    Further to the previous message.

    The single file that appears in the wp-content/cache/hyper-cache/ always has the same name; 3a06044615c67ec66fac1794117a876a.dat and it is always the cache of my site’s front page (so far).

    It can take a few hours before this file appears in the cache.

    I would very much like to sort this problem out because the plugin is working beautifully on my secondary site, but the problem is on my most important site.
