I have FooThumbnails for Galleries, and FooBox Free Image Lightbox installed on a localhost development site.
When I create a gallery with Foothumnbnails and and place the short code on a page I see the Gallery thumbnail properly but when I click on it only one image from the gallery shows up. I have checked the the gallery via the “edit” button and on “Step two Insert your images” all the images are there. All the images in the gallery are set to “media file”.
I have tried deleting the gallery and recreating it but the effect is the same only the first image in the gallery shows up in the light box.

    thanks,
    david

Can you provide a link to where you are experiencing this?

I am developing on my computer at localhost/wordpress , so no link is available.

Hmmm… well, that limits my ability to help a lot. So let me guess at a few possibilities:

    1) What are your FooBox settings in the General tab in the “Attach to” area? I have a feeling you have “All Images” set. This effectively disables navigation between images since every image is treated as a unique instance of FooBox. Try disabling all the options EXCEPT WordPress Galleries.

    2) Do you know how to use Chrom Dev Tools? Can you post a link to a screenshot if you see any js errors on the page at all?

I don’t see any javascript errors with chrome, also checked with firebug in firefox , also no js errors.
I am using FooBox Free, in the General tab there are 3 options for attaching FooBox.
    1. Enable FooBox for all WordPress image galleries.
2.Enable FooBox for all WordPress images that have captions.
3.Enable FooBox for all media images included in posts or pages.

If I select option “1. word press galleries” only then fooBox does not open.
I need to have option “2. images with captions” selected then Foobox opens but only displays one picture from my FooThumbnail Gallery ([foothumbnailgallery id=”669″])

Hmmm… at this point I’d really need to see it in order to troubleshoot. I’ve never experienced that. Which theme are you using?

I’ll test that a bit locally myself and see if I come up with anything.

I am using raindrops , but I just switched to a basic theme, twenty fourteen, to check and the problem is the same.
thanks alot for your help. I really like the plugin I hope I can get it to work.
I am building a site for an art gallery and it could work out well if I can get it functioning.

Unfortunately I really can’t reproduce this problem locally at all. Naturally, I tested with both versions of FooBox extensively and with all the default WordPress themes before I launched this. I tested again when WP 4.0 was released and all goes well. The only other ticket that mentioned this had a lot of other issues with the site that was causing conflicts.

Have you tried disabling all other plugins beside FooThumbnails and FooBox?

Yes, I tried disabling all other plugins.
I am going to backup my work and then do a fresh install of wordpress.

I haven’t heard back from you on this. I’m assuming it either got fixed or you moved on to a different solution. Feel free to open a new ticket if you need any further assistance. Thanks!
