I have created a newsletter that triggers on new posts for a specific post type. The template contains a preview of the latest post. When I publish two posts shortly after each other (eg within some minutes) only for the first post a newsletter email is sent to my subscribers. I would like to also trigger a mail for the second post. Is there a specific time I need to wait until I publish the second post or is there a setting where I can increase the frequency that mailpoet checks for new posts?

I have set it to use Mailpoet’s own script and the Mailpopet sending service.

  • Hi @sheriffdonnerknall,

If you publish multiple posts in rapid succession before the Post Notification gets rendered, only one Post Notification email ends up being created.

As for ways out of it, you may want to include both posts in the same Post Notification email (can be done by bumping up the number of posts in the Automatic Latest Content block).

If you still want both posts to be sent as separate emails, you’d have to publish the first email, wait for its Post Notification to start sending, and then publish the second post.

    Hi @wysija ,

thanks for the information. It does not happen to often but when we publish our fire fighter’s operation reports it can be that we had two alarms the same day. Is there a defined time how often the sending process kicks in (using Mailpoet’s own script and the Mailpopet sending service)?
