"only one result" bug in combination with ajax search

Please find my example on: https://www.ecocentrumemma.nl/winkel/

After entering “bonbon” in the filter (zoeken in dutch) you get the following results:

Link = https://www.ecocentrumemma.nl/?s=bonbon&post_type=product (correct!)

Now the BUG:
Selecting one of the categories (which both correct correspond to the products) you get an incorrect filter)
This apears ONLY when the filter returns only ONE result.
In this example I choose “Chocolade, repen”, the results are below:

This link is correct. If you execute this link (pressing enter in te browser) you get the right result = the product page of the filtered product, see image below:

It seems like a page reload / refresh task has to be performed after the filter link is entered in the browser.
Now I can not deliver “expected performace”
Would be great if we can fix this problem or find a workaround.
