Only partial image loading and appearing in posts

    About two days ago I noticed that when I tried uploading images to use in my blog post only a partial section of the image was being uploaded. When I try to edit the image, I can see the full image but when I insert the image only the middle potion of the image loads into the post. I don’t use any image plugins so I’m really not sure what’s causing the problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Switch to Twenty Twelve theme with all plugins turned off and see if you have problems with loading/uploading images.

    I don’t think I can do that without breaking the site which has happened before with updates etc.

    There is no magic bullet in these situations. This is just the start of basic troubleshooting and is a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.
