I managed a website for a client and I set an integration via a Gmail account.

Recently we noticed that the service stopped working. I assumed it was due to recent changes on the Google account authentication methods.
I created a new client and credentials according to your integration guide and after running some tests, I’m only getting Plain text emails on my inboxes (Gmail, Outlook and a custom one from a hosting company). After that, I started from scratch (new integration) and the issue persists…

    Please advice.

I have control over the server, domain, gmail account, site. I can check whatever you tell me.

    Hi @alainxps

Thanks for reaching out and we’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with the Google mailer.

To confirm this isn’t due to a plugin/theme conflict, we would recommend disabling your client’s other plugins and switching to a default WordPress theme.

Next, to confirm if this is a mailer specific issue, please try integrating with one of the other available mailers. The easiest ones to test with are the Sendinblue and Other SMTP mailers since one has a free tier and the other is free.

Lastly, are you seeing any error messages in your WP Mail SMTP > Tools > debug events section? If yes, please share them

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Buddies!
    Sorry to bother you.

This was an issue related to my DNS rather than the plugin itself. It seems like even with DKIM, SPF and any other validation requirement, Gmail stills think that my outgoing emails are spam…

I switched to sendinblue and there’s no problem at all.
    Thank you anyway ??
