    I have activated the GDPR feature and clicking on the red button to accept and watch the video, the site only reloads but doesn’t show the video nor plays it.

    Hi, doesn’t work in test environment with standard twenty-twenty theme either. And no plugins installed. I am not sure plugins matter. what kind of plugins shouldn’t be installed?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, we can’t debug the issue without seeing it. One suggestion is to deactivate other plugins one by one (refresh cache if you have one) then see if the issue disappears. Report back if it’s a plugin issue.

    It seems you fixed by luck and with one of the other fixes.
    It’s gone now. Let’s look how long it takes to see it again.

    I was wrong. and now you get an example:

    Check the youtube video. I can’t click on it.
    I have tested with different browsers.
    The privacy/GDPR message won’t disappear. Others have the problem, too. On a different computer from different network from a different (W)Lan.

    I would suggest trying to deactivate your plugins one by one to see if there’s one that’s causing a conflict — refreshing your site cache (if any) in intermittently during this investigation.

    Do you have a caching plugin enabled? If so then it may be forcing the same display of the GDPR message even after refresh. Depending on the caching plugin, there are sometimes ways to have a workaround; please provide the name of it if you have one, and we may be able to help.
