Only show one category at a time and assigning a parrent category

  • When
    Only show one category at a time
    option is unchecked, both categories and their links are shown on one page, child category and its links with brighter lef margin.

    But when
    Only show one category at a time
    is checked, parent and child categories open as separate pages wit cat variable in their urls, a page with child category does not contain links, both pages display this message:

    All of your links must be assigned at least to one category to be displayed

    Parent one below its links, where presumably links of the child category should be located, if Only show one category at a time would be unchecked.
    But links are assigned to the child category.
