Example: I’m filtering with two taxonomies. I apply the filter for the first, at this point I want the second taxonomy dropdown to only display terms from the results with the first filter.

Secondary example: on a search results page, I want to further filter the results using only terms from the posts within the results.

Does this make sense? Is there a way to do that?

    Hi Daniel,

For your first issue: At the moment it’s not possible but it’s on my roadmap of features to come ??

Second: Sorry. Since a search is not an archive BTF can’t filter search results. This functionality would mean an almost completely new/different plugin.. I think there should be something out there already that does this? Have you tried googling?

    Hi Jonathan,
the plugin looks great, but I have not used it properly, because of the first issue above. Do you know yet when you will be able to add that functionality, that the filters update according to a filter already chosen?
    Thanks,
    Sascha

    Hi Sascha,

Sorry but I can’t say when it’ll be implemented. This plugin is purely a hobby-project done on my free time which there isn’t much of (already working two jobs and running a company).

It’s high up on my roadmap on features to implement and with the latest version I’ve pretty much checked off everything up til this. So in short: I don’t know but it should come in one of the future closest updates.

Cool thanks! Totally understand. Would be great if you could post a little note in here, when it’s implemented, if you remember ??
But don’t worry if not, I just check back on it every so often…
