Only show unread posts/pages since a certain date?

This plugin is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Except: I don’t want new users to see all of the unread posts since the beginning of the website. What I need is only the posts/pages since the date of registration to be shown.
Is there any way to do that? I’m building an internal knowledge base at work and I wouldn’t want all new users to have to click all existing (possible hundreds by that time) posts first. I could do that for future employees, but it’s practically impossible to do that for the at least 100 users I’d have to start with.
Or is there a way to relatively quickly check all posts read?
I’d like to hear from you. This is the only plugin I’ve found to do what I want, but this is a big downside.
