My issue is that in some cases your plugin will only show a couple of related products when there are clearly many more.

I have the plugin setup to show 4 related products on a desktop based on the product’s Category. I have inserted the php code so it uses sub-category. The plugin always selects valid products but sometimes it will only show 2 or 3 products when it should show 4.

Here is a product that works https://www.presentsofmind.com.au/game/bluey-gotta-be-done-puzzle-4x42pc/

and another that does not https://www.presentsofmind.com.au/game/3d-crystal-puzzle-t-rex-green-49-pieces/

Theses 2 products are in different sub-categories of the same parent category.

Here is an example of a product at the category level https://www.presentsofmind.com.au/game/the-lighthouse-keepers-lunch-45th-anniversary-edition-by-ronda-david-armitage/

So in fact the issue has something to do with specific categories and sub-categories, as if an index table used by the plugin is not complete. If I look at that category via the website it lists many products. Any ideas?

i have the same issue, gave example but no support. So my question to you is, do you use Wp Rocket?

Glad to hear that something is being done about it. Can you give me a rough timeframe …a week, a month?

In regards to WP-Rocket, yes I use it. I tried deactivating it and clearing cache to test the problem and it still occurs. WP-Rocket has now been reactivated.

Hello, i updated the plugin and iam very happy. The right amount is shown when possible.

One minor fix is still needed which isnt urgent and very special. When you have a tag that has only out of stock products it can happen that out of stock products are displayed from other tags. Its good that alternatives are shown, in a few cases out of stock products mix in between the recommendations.
