• Hello, I just noticed that the Yith Wishlist plugin temporarily works — only by deactivating and reactivating. It seemed to be working fine about a week ago. I’m not sure what happened in the meantime. I did disable my cart capability but even without this it works but only for a short time. It’s system status appears to be fine as well and all other plugins are up to date. Can you please review and let me know what I should do. (PS: I’m not a website programmer, btw, so I hope a solution can be provided without having to use code). Thank you — Ashley

    Hello Ashley,
    we hope you’re doing well!

Does this happen to you as a logged in user and as a non-logged in user?

Do you have any caching plugin installed on your site?

We will be attentive to your response.

    Best regards.

Hello Juan, thanks for addressing this.

This appears to happen when I’m logged in as an admin user but also as a visitor (before I login). WP Fastest Cache plugin is installed.

As far as I can tell, the Wishlist plugin has been working since the last time I deactivated and reactivated it (about 3 days ago). I’m not sure what happened or if it will revert.

Are there any known issues with this so I can try to troubleshoot the next time it occurs?

    Many thanks!

    Hello there!

As far as we know, there are no issues known like the one you described.
Have you tried deactivating your cache plugin to see if it’s related?

    Please, let us know.
    Have a nice day!

Hello, I’m still having an issue with the plugin only temporarily working until I deactivate it and reactivate it. Juan mentioned a caching plugin could be affecting it. I have WP Fastest Cache installed and the Wishlist is excluded from it. Should it be included instead? I deactivated this cache plugin while the Wishlist was enabled and there was no change with it not working. Thanks in advance.

    Hello there,

If deactivating your cache plugin you still have problems with our plugin, we recommend you perform the following tests to verify if you find the error at any point:

    • Switch to a default WordPress theme like 2023.
    • Leave only active WooCommerce and our plugin.
    • If the problem disappears, activate your plugins in batches until you find the one that causes the problem.

If you don’t want to run these tests on your live site, you can easily create a test site with the free WP Staging plugin.

Let us know any news, please.

    Best regards.
