Only Temporary Solution?

    Hi Andrew,
    I saw in the Gutenberg reviews by Tammie, that this plugin will only be a temporary solution and not permanent. Please don’t tell me it will be removed after a few months when Gutenberg goes live.

    Hi Avrom,
    I went through all Gutenberg reviews but didn’t see anything suggesting that the Classic Editor plugin would be discontinued. It is a standard WordPress plugin and will be available in the repository as long as even one person needs it ??

    Perhaps there was some misunderstanding. I’d imagine this plugin will be quite popular after Gutenberg is merged to core as there will probably be incompatibilities with some plugins. However it will be needed less and less in the future when most other plugins are updated to work well with the new editor.
