    Hello,

    Running : WordPress 5.2.3, Powerpress 7.5.4 , PHP 7.0.33

We provide mostly a premium podcast feed (with authentication) :

    https://www.theothersideofmidnight.com/feed/showarchive/

I already have entered 83 episodes mp3s, but in two different podcast players (VLC and Clementine) I only see the last 30 episodes.

    – In WordPress/Settings/Readings, in “Syndication feeds show the most recent”, I have set 200
    – In Powerpress/Settings/feeds, in “Show the most recent”, I have set 200
    – In Powerpress/Podcast Channels/”Premium Podcast for Members”/Feed, in “Show the most recent”, I have set 200

    Help ?

Btw, I built a page with this :

    [powerpress_playlist slug=”showarchive” limit=1000 style=”dark”]

and when I display it (in a browser), I see all the episodes I have entered

At our hosting company, they use :
    – Apache
    – Nginx for static content
    – Cloudflare as a general cache

I have restarted Apache and Nginx, and completely purged Cloudflare’s cache : no change

    Your feed URL here:
    https://www.theothersideofmidnight.com/feed/showarchive/

Requires a username/password, so I can’t do any testing with it. Presumably, you have your own working username/password for this feed. If so, load the feed in a web browser like Chrome or Brave so that you see the raw XML of the feed. In the browser menu bar go to Edit >> Find and search for “enclosure” (without the quote marks). See how many enclosure tags are found. If it finds 83 enclosure tags, then there are 83 episodes in the feed, and the problem you’re experiencing with only 30 episodes showing in certain apps is related to those specific apps, and not a problem with your feed.

    Thank you.
Within Chrome, I see 80 enclosure lines.
However, I tried on Android, with the player “Podcast Addict” : it downloaded 35 episodes only, and stopped with the following error message :
“Last update failed: 9/30/19 – 8:22am Broken RSS feed: At line 542, column 319: undefined entity”

Please use the following account for testing purposes :
    login: [email protected]
    pwd: TumooPhaivuD7x

With VLC the error message is :

XML parser error (line 542) : Entity ‘nbsp’ not defined

    This Post on your site:
    https://www.theothersideofmidnight.com/20190511_targ/

Is responsible for line 542 in your podcast RSS feed. I don’t see anything in the XML that should be causing a problem. Best thing I can suggest is to delete the above Post on your site and repost it. Make sure when you’re publishing Posts on your WordPress site that you’re not copying/pasting into the WordPress editor from an outside app like MS Word or GDocs, as those types of apps often include “hidden” markup text that breaks RSS feeds.

Yes, I got it : in the post
    https://www.theothersideofmidnight.com/20190505_perala/

we had an “illegal” string “&nbsp” entered as normal characters : in the file index.html which I downloaded with wget from the podcast URL, it was right on line 542, column 319.

All is good now, I see the full list !

Thank you for your help !
