Only tracking direct access

    Hi

    I am finding that traffic shows up correctly when I type my domain name directly into the address bar, but that it is either missing or incomplete if I enter via facebook links or google search links. Do the pages visited only show up if they have completely finished loading? The ‘referer’ box is blank. I installed this first on my test site and didn’t have this problem so I’m not sure what is different this time? I have deselected ‘Show statistics on the OS and browser types of your visitors?’ and am not using the google analytics yet.

    The page is count when it is completely finished loading …
    The refer box is set up by the browser and thus, if you have a confidentiality configuration on that browser the referer is empty !
