Only using %SURL%

    On my website I have the complete range of Summary Card with Large Image Twitter Card meta tags.

    Would posting only the url with %SURL% in the settings be enough to post the featured image, post title and first part of the post like it would when I manually tweet the url only?

    It depends on what URL shortener you are using. Twitter does not like most of them.

    I’m not using any url shortener. I just want to mimic a manual url tweet, but I don’t know if using %SURL% will have the same effect.

    %SURL% creates a shortened link by definition.

    If you want regular URL please use %URL%

    I can confirm that using %URL% get me the post title, large image and first part of the post in Twitter.
