Only worked when a user is logged into admin, so no one got a pop up!

@willmultipress – Sorry to hear you had trouble, but it doesn’t sound like our plugin was doing anything wrong. This is common when your site uses caching plugins or your host provides caching as most sites/hosts do these days to make sites load faster.
To see changes on your site immediately you would need to purge/flush/clear the cache, usually with a button in your admin.
This is further proven when you say it works while logged in, by default caching is disabled for logged in users.
