    Hi,

Abandoned Cart Lite version not only work for logged-in user. It works for both guest user and logged-in user.

Abandoned cart plugin lite version captures abandoned cart of logged-in user and guest user (non-logged-in user). For logged-in users, carts are tracked from the time when they add the first product to the cart. However, guest user carts are tracked after the user enters the email address on the Checkout Page.

Cart is declared as the abandoned once set time for setting “Cart abandoned cut-off time” is reached, and the same cart is displayed as the abandoned under the “Abandoned Orders” tab of our plugin.

Please let me know if you have any further queries.

I have a little bit confusion here. Works perfect for logged in users. but for non-logged in users how will it track. There is case :

A user comes on site and he/she added 2 products (still not entry in database), came to checkout page, entered email but didn’t submit that checkout form and left the site. will it work in this case???

    Hi,

I am glad to know that our plugin is working fine for logged-in user.

Yes, abandoned cart plugin will capture the abandoned cart after the guest user enters the email address on the checkout page.

Please let me know if you have any further queries.

    Hi Chetnapatel,

Your plugin seems to be the thing I need.
However, I don’t understand the non-logged users thing.

Why don’t you track the abandoned cart even if the guest didnt enter email ? I think users add to cart to see what s going to be the delivery price and then leave the page.

So I get you, we won’t be able to contact these users but for statistic purposes, it could be interesting to track every abandoned carts.

    What do you think ?

    Thanks for your answer,
    this is amazing work.

    Hi Thomas,

Thank you for appreciating our work.

Currently, it is not possible to track the visitor cart in the Abandoned Cart Lite plugin.

But in the Abandoned Cart Pro plugin, we have included one setting named as “Enable tracking carts when customer doesn’t enter details” on the setting page. It will track the visitor cart.

Please check the screenshot for it: https://screencast.com/t/8gb7RcGlRrbp

When this setting will enable then our plugin will track the abandoned product and carts and visits the cart page even if the customer does not visit the checkout page and user does not enter any details on the checkout page like name or email address. We are capturing the abandoned cart as a visitor on the “Abandoned Order” tab.

    Like this: https://screencast.com/t/HZ3xge0dbQ

We are not yet planning to include this setting in the Abandoned Cart Lite plugin.

Please let me know if you have any further queries.

    Hi Thomas,

Thank you for appreciating our plugin and support.

It would be great if you could write a review for us on plugin’s review page ( https://www.ads-software.com/support/view/plugin-reviews/woocommerce-abandoned-cart ). That would help immensely.
