Ooops POP3 connect: Error [] []

  • I’ve set up wordpress using GoDaddy.com (no easy feat!) I’m now attempting to post via email with a pop3 account from another hosting company. My settings are correct, as I have used them to retrieve the mail through Outlook Express. Here is the error:

    Ooops POP3 connect: Error [] []

    As you can see, not overly helpful. I was able to determine that it is the IF statement in wp-mail.php that is giving me this error. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

  • Hey Paul, this is not quite a fix, but I had the same problem until I installed and configured postie. Google it and you should find it no prob.
