    I got
    “Oops, something went wrong.
This may be because of a technical error that we’re working to fix. Please try reloading this page.”

after “Facebook for WooCommerce” update to version 2.0.0 and its request to reconnect:

“Heads up! You’re ready to migrate to a more secure, reliable Facebook for WooCommerce connection. Please click here to reconnect!”

    What went wrong?

  • Hey?@folkworld,

Thanks for writing to us about our plugin! I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I am happy to help out here. ??

I want to sincerely apologize for the connection issue with the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin. We have identified that there is an issue and are taking it seriously, actively investigating with the Facebook team and providing them all the information they need to troubleshoot this further.

At this time, we do not have an estimated time for this fix. You can rest assured that this is our top priority and we will work alongside Facebook to get this cleared up as quickly as possible.

Please take a look at the following announcement for more information on this issue and to keep updated on any new developments:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/using-facebook-for-woocommerce-2-0/

As that posting mentions, you can opt to revert to the previous version and re-connect to Facebook while you await this fix. Would you let me know how you’d like to proceed here and if there’s anything else I could help with?

    Thanks,
    Tamara ??
