Oops something went wrong message

    Hi,

    I have added a MC4WP mailchimp signup to the footer but not working, it says ‘Oops something went wrong, try later’.

    This is what I have tried so far:

    Go to Mailchimp for WP > Mailchimp, click on the Renew Mailchimp lists button. Once that is done, go to Mailchimp for WP > Form > Settings and make sure the correct list is still selected and hit save. Finally go to Mailchimp for WP > Form > Fields and make sure all the required fields are added to the form.

    Please update the MC4WP plugin to the latest version first. If that doesn’t solve the issue. please see https://www.mc4wp.com/kb/fix-the-oops-something-went-wrong-error/

    If you can still not solve the error after reading that kb article, please let me know the error you see in the log under MC4WP > Other.

    Often it’s a field that is set as required field in the Mailchimp audience settings, but not added to the form.

    I checked under MC4WP > Other and discovered that I was trying to subscribe using an email that I had previously unsubscribed from the list. I used a different email and it works.
