    Hi @anotheropus

Thanks for contacting us, and I’m sorry you received that error.

Can you please follow the steps below to resolve this error:

    1. Log into your WordPress site
    2. Go to Insights ? Settings under Google Authentication tab
    3. First click on “Disconnect MonsterInsights” – https://a.supportally.com/i/IWuPCk
    4. You may need to press “Force Disconnect” if it does not disconnect the first time.
    5. Then click on “Connect MonsterInsights“-?https://a.supportally.com/i/XAEv92?and follow the steps that come after to connect to a Google Analytics property that was previously created.

Once you have completed those steps, you should not see that error any longer.

Let me know if you run into issues with that!

    Thanks,
    Tim

Thank you for the support, Tim.

I’ve done that several times and the error repeats.

For now I’m testing an alternative solution on this site that worked and connected to GA without a hiccup — Analitify.

Sidebar, I like the Monster Insights plugin and have relied on it for several years across hundreds of client sites. A note you might consider is that during install there are two things I’ve always disliked due to the number of installs I’ve done.
    1. I don’t like the pre-checked box that signs me up for emails.
    2. I really do not like the stage that auto-installs several plugins if I click the button instead of chosing the text link to skiip the installs and continue.
    Those tactics aren’t cool.

    Hope this helps.

    Chris
