I just upgraded my site to the latest version of WP and updated several plugins and my theme. All seemed well until i tried to checkout. Basically, you add an item into your cart, click checkout, it diderect you to a page where it says oops there is nothing in your cart, and your cart is emptied.

I tried switching to a standard WP theme and still the same, and i have disabled all of my plugins and still the same.

    any ideas?

  • I have a similar problem, the cart gets emptied after the customer registers an account with the site. After the registering process and the login, the cart is empty.

Can you show us a website link or something like that ?

i have reverted back to the old plugin even though the database got updated with the new plugin.. is this ok?

also, i am being bombarded with spam comments that all need approving but its a pain to remove them all of the time. I have comments disabled in WP and have also unchecked the allow comments on each product but the comments boxes still display on each product.

    Can you please help?

    my site is https://www.forestenchantment.com

@michaeljb the comments must be overwritten by your theme settings.
tested on the latest version and default theme and they show/hide based on the settings so its working.

so how did you fix the problem? you reverted what? wp ecommerce? to what version, please?

i went back to the old version of the plugin. I will stay with this for now until the user bugs have been fixed in the current version

    Hi,

a client had this problem and I think it was resolved by turning off the varnish cache. Some more info here:

Please upgrade the wp-ecommerce database.(i.e) The Alert will be shown in the plug – in page. Click and upgrade the database. It works fine
