    I am having a problem with double opt-in links and unsubscribe links. It is similar to what was mentioned in this problem thread, where the @ is being encoded as %2540, causing the link to give the error “Oops.. There was some technical error. Please try again later or contact us.” Was a resolution ever found for this problem?

    Actually, the email itself has the @ replaced by %40, but Chrome, Firefox and Edge all change it to %2540 when the link is clicked.

    I was able to make it work by removing the rawurlencode from the email address portions of the es-sendmail.php file.

    Kindly check if the plugin has been updated to version 3.4.2.
    Also, check if the issue occurs after the update.

    Please let me know your views on it.

    It is definitely 3.4.2. This is a new installation.

    @darrellg

    I’m not able to replicate the issue at my end.
    Kindly make sure you have updated the plugin to its latest version i.e 3.4.3.
    kindly let me know if the same problem occurs after the update as this is a very unusual issue.

    Updating the plugin broke it again. I had to remove the rawurlencode functions surrounding the email address portions in es-sendmail.php to make it work.

    I realize that this is probably has something to do with the way that my server is configured. However, this has not happened only to me. Would it be possible to add a setting that will bypass the rawurlencode part so that I don’t have to edit the code every time you publish an update?

    I can confirm that removing all rawurlencode(…) references from es-sendmail.php resolved the issue for me (plug-in version 3.4.6)

    The issue has been solved for me in the new version 3.4.7. Thank you, developers!
