Oops, unexpected error occurred – New Subscriber Entry

What is the error you are exactly getting and when?

“Oops.. Unexpected error occurred.” is the error. A user will see it when she tries to register using the email subscribers widget which is placed on the front page of the site, in the footer. When using the widget placed in any sibling page (articles linked from themain page), it works.

The subscribe form on this page: https://zatma.org/ is pointing to this link: https://zatma.org/new-wp/.

Both the links are not matching and hence you are seeing the error. Can you please correct links and check if it works after that.

That was it. The plugin works perfectly now.

Hi – I also have this same error on a site that was outsourced and I’ve been asked to help fix it.

The newsletter signup box is in the first footer widget area and I get this error every time anyone tries to sign up to our mailing list

I have updated the widget to the most recent version and checked the targets that I believe to be all correct. Any help? The website is https://www.pioneeringinitiatives.org
