    Hello,

    Hope all of you are doing well. I would like to ask you about some advice about custom payment gateway.

    I created new payment gateway for Opayo payment according to the instructions on your website about add-on payment gateway. All things work good but the payment doesn’t want to go through the system, just loading and nothing happen with donation. We add API key from Opayo but payment doesn’t work at all. Could you give me some advise how to deal with it to make it work?

    Hey @cysiekk,

    Glad you reached out.

    When you create a new payment gateway, you need to make sure that the donation data is stored correctly on GiveWP and that everything is processed for the payment gateway to charge the customer and send it back to your site.

    The post we have on our website is introductory and gives you the rails to develop your custom code, but each payment gateway has its peculiarities that you need to address too.

    Putting me in your shoes, I’d read the code of the plugin to see how we integrate Stripe, PayPal Standard and PayPal Donations, so you have an idea of how to process your donations properly.

    We cannot provide support for custom code on your website, only the code that we create and distribute.
