    Hi.

After upgrading to WordPress 5.5 and installing the latest W3 Total Cache update, the Opcode Cache option can’t be selected in the settings.

Before these updates, Opcode Cache had been selected and was working well.

Please let me know if you can help.

    Thanks.

    Hello @script2see

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
Just to make sure we are on the same page, YOu’ve been able to select Opcode Cache (zend Opcache) in W3 Total Cache, but after you’ve updated your WP version and W3TC version you are unable to select it?
W3 Total Cache checks for PHP module so please check with your host if the the module is installed (potentially you need to restart your server).
Also check the php.ini if opcode cache is enabled.
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks!

Thanks for the fast response Marko. I really appreciate it.

The PHP module for zend Opcache is enabled in my GoDaddy CPanel, but I’ll check with them to see if there are any issues on their end.

    Thanks again.
