Open an image that links to a webstory as a popup

    Hi there.
    I would like to know if there is a way to open the slider images I have into my theme with webstories.

    The slider layout and content come from my theme and I don’t want to change it. What I would like to do is as follow:
    – you click a slider box
    – it opens a webstory I have created as a popup, not on a new page.

    Can it be achievable?

    @richardzed Hello and thank you for your topic. The Web Stories WordPress plugin provides built-in integrations for all WordPress core default themes so that they have this opt-in functionality out-of-the-box so you can expore other themes for your site. There are a few other themes (e.g. Astra, Newspaper, Neve) that support the integration of Web Stories already which will allow you to open the story in a lightbox. I suggest reaching out to your theme developer for assistance on how to achieve this as they know their code best.
