Open/closed menu

Hi

I am new to this menu and using the free version to try it out.

I am using the menu on a left hand side and it looks good. When I press a top level menu item the submenu pops out as it should.

Now, my question; If I press the sub-menu item it links me to the correct page, but the menu is now closed again.
In my mind the menu sould still be open on the item I clicked.

I hope you understood, and if so, is that possible to do in either free or pro version?
