Open desktop app automatically if its installed

    Hi. Thanks for a great plugin! Is there any way to automatically open a new chat in the desktop app if a user has it installed? This works great on mobile, but on desktop, the app should automatically open too if it is installed. If its not installed, them it should prompt you to install it.

    Please tell me this is possible? This is such a great little plugin.

    Thank you for your words about the plugin!

    Currently, when visitors click the send button, they are redirected to WhatsApp Web on desktop or the WhatsApp app on mobile, depending on their device.

    Unfortunately the plugin does not support automatically opening a new chat in the desktop app if it is installed.
