Open Download Invoice button in new tab

  • Hi there!

    I’m using “Open PDF in new tab/window” from the general plugin settings.

    Everything works fine from the admin part. However, as a customer, from “My Account” page the PDF get opened in the same tab. I would like it to get opened in a new tab as well. Is that possible?

    Hi! Unfortunately this is not something I can control from within the PDF invoice plugin. The buttons are created by WooCommerce, the only thing the plugin can do is to pass a URL to the buttons, I can’t tell WC what target the button should have. It’s possible to hack around this, but that comes with a risk of breaking theme specific implementations, so this is why I’ve left this untouched. So the setting then only makes a difference in the My Account page for whether the PDF is shown in the browser (same page) or downloaded.

    I’m sorry I don’t have a solution for this!

    Thank you for your reply. No worries it’s all fine. You already provide us an amazing free plugin who’s really helpful ??

    I’ll try to find a solution from WooCommerce. I’ll let you know if I figure out of it.
