Open download link in a new window – still unsuccessful

I followed the indications given in the previous reply. I am still a kind of confused.

The page that states I may customize the plugin templates does not provide detailed documentation or a clear example of how I may change the default download to open it in a blank page.

Neither I may find a plugin field where to insert the “target” property. If I add it to the link field, that does not give a result.

Could you please specify with an explicit example or code fragment. Otherwise a screenshot would be a great help.
