Open External Link in new tab by default?

    Hi,

    is it possible to setup this plugin so that all internal links open in the same tab whereas external links open in new tabs by default?

    This is not an existing feature. I could probably add this as new configurable option in the plugin, however it is likely that I would only be able to spare the time to work on this if I needed it for one of my own projects (which is unlikely) or if someone commissioned the work.
