I noticed my blog posts were giving an error message on Pinterest and not validating as rich pins so I reached out to the Pinterest team. Here is what they said:

‘I have checked your website and it seems meta tags are not in the sequence. It should follow “title, description and type” but on your webpage, it is showing “type, title, and description”.’

Is there a way to change the order of the meta data being inserted by the Yoast plugin? I know it is not a major thing for search engines but my pins not validating on Pinterest is driving me batty. I couldn’t find any documentation on this on the Yoast website.

Thanks for any suggestions or help!
