I created a shockwave flipbook with inDesign and it opens in a lightbox using Easy Fancybox Pro which is what I want. I attached it to a button on the Woocommerce single product page and it works fine (it opens in a lightbox). It looks nice but being an .swf file it is not responsive and will not open in iOS devices. I used some software to create the flipbook in an HTML5 file which I uploaded to my site. I attached it to the button (the HTML5 index.html file) clicking on the button will open the flipbook but in a separate window and not the lightbox. Is there any way to get the HTML5 flipbook to open in the lightbox like it does with the .swf file? Also, not really being familiar with HTML5, I see numerous references to HTML5 videos, so is the HTML5 folder for the flipbook with all of its component files, folders, scripts, css, etc. the same as an HTML5 video?

  • Hi spamis, to create a link that opens an external html file (html 5 or 4 is not important) you can use the iFrame mode:

    1. Go to Settings > Media, disable the SWF option (unless you need it for other links) and enable the iFrame option.
    2. Go to your product page and replace the Flash URL in the link with the URL of the external html file.
    3. Change the link class from “fancybox-swf” to “fancybox-iframe”
