Open in lightbox!

    I’m trying to get PDF files to open in a lightbox. With this plugin, I am really close. I can make images open on the same page or a new one, but not in a lightbox. Am I missing something? Is there another plugin I can use to help me with this?

    Hi @kbmann90,

    What you are looking for is a Lightbox, it’s a simple as that ?? This plugin allows to add links to URLs on an image, not to open a lightbox.

    I’m also looking for a possibility to open content in a lightbox but I already have a lightbox installed.
    To be more specific: I have a lightGallery lightbox running for pictures out of the wp media gallery. This works fine. But now I like to ad vimeo files to the pictures.
    There are “teaser” fotos for the films showing up in the gallery. But when I click on the Fotos the vimeo linked film should open _in_the_lightbox_ but not in a new window.
    What is funny, when the lightbox is already opened by a picture (without linking to video content) and I start scrolling threw the fotos, the vimeo film also show up in the layer.
    But when I click on them simpmly the vimeo page opens.
    Question: is there something like a “class” to add to the link, so that the lightbox opens instead of a new site?
