Open in new tab / target_"blank" redirect

Hi,
I wondered is it really the case that this popular redirect plugin doesn’t allow you to open the redirects in new tab? At least I couldn’t find a way to do it.
Anyone know how it’s done with the plugin and without actually finding/editing the .htaccess?
