Hi @wanlapat, currently no. But that’s a good idea and really easy to add. I think everyone would probably want that so I’ll try to add it to the next release. Stay tuned!

Ok I have this working. Would you mind testing it does what you’re hoping before I release the changes to everybody?

    1. Download the new version from here: https://github.com/mnelson4/printmyblog/archive/FET/open-print-buttons-in-new-tabs.zip
    2. Go to your WordPress dashboard, click plugins, then “add new”, then “upload” and select the zip file you just downloaded
    3. Deactivate the previous version Print My Blog
    4. Activate the new version of Print My Blog

When you visit a post or page using the print buttons, and click any of them, they should always open in a new tab.

    What do you think?

Hey @wanlapat im hoping to release the fix next week. If you manage to confirm it’s fixed on the brtsiin I pointed to shove, that would he really helpful. But if you’re not comfortable testing it no worries.

Was this fix ever applied to the plugin? I noticed that this version worked, but it doesn’t look like it’s been added to the version in the repository.

Hi @tabytharourke no this change hasn’t been merged into the main repository.
I wasn’t yet sure if it would be a sought-after feature.
Here’s a question: do you think everyone will want the print buttons to open in a new tab, or will some people prefer it open in the same tab (how it works now in the repository)?
