Is it possible to use your plugin to open all posts within a post grid within a popup or Lightbox? The post grid is based on WPBakery that the theme has incorporated.

    Hi @scdesmond

    Thank you for reaching out!

Yes, is it possible to use Popup Maker to display a popup when selecting one of the posts on the post grid. To achieve this, you will need the Trigger: Click Open with extra selector and also assign the CSS class on each post.

For more insights, kindly refer to our documentation Trigger: Click Open — Add Popup Maker Classes to Set a Trigger

    I hope that helps.

Let us know if you have any questions about this matter.

Can you please elaborate on how you would assign the CSS class to a post? I’m using the free astra theme.

    Hi @offpeakdesign

Thank you for joining the thread.

For the free Astra theme, you will need to edit the content of the post with WordPress Gutenberg. Then use the Edit as HTML feature.

    Please see: https://share.getcloudapp.com/eDug0xnj

The editor will switch to another option where you can see the HTML tags. Just simply add a class attribute with the popup CSS class.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, just let us know.

To clarify, I don’t want to open an individual popup created with another plugin or builder, but set all posts (two column layout with embedded video) to open in a popup when the link to that post is clicked. Is that possible?

Hi there @scdesmond – ?Technically, yes, you can do that. Note that the popups are simply containers for html content. What you insert inside the popup is entirely up to you. That said, we don’t have anything built in to do that for you.

In line with that, ?in general, we try to leave the styling of popup content to you and the plugins/themes installed on your site as there is such a variety of things you could insert. But if you really wish to achieve that then you would need to use a div and CSS manually in the text editor to split them into columns. Alternatively you could use a page builder, a block editor or even a plugin to add columns and just insert those form codes inside the proper column.

Hope that makes sense. If you have further concerns, don’t hesitate to let us know.

    Thank you!
