Open Social Media Link in New Tab/Page

Is there an easy way to update the plugin code so that social media links added to user profiles opens in a new tab or blank page so that site visitors don’t leave the site?

Currently if I add social media to a profile page, the icon appears on the profile (great!), but when you click on it I am redirected to the link. Thanks for your support.
