Open the download files in a new window

  • I use the free version of the plugin. I have seen that in order to open the files in a new window and download them, they recommended the following steps to another user:

    To keep your changes intact, please create a dir named download-manager inside your active theme dir, then copy all files from plugins / download-manager / tpls / to active-theme / download-manager and modify. Doc: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/

    The question is: if I am using a childtheme, would my “active-theme” be that of the childtheme or the parent theme?
