Open the subscribe form in a new tab

    Hello. It’s about the subscription form (question 9)
    I have it on my page at the bottom, footer widget area.

    I would like to open a new tab instead of a new pop-up window (default).
    And is the captcha that necessary?

    Thank you for your question.

    I’m not sure myself now – if you select under question 6 that click on the icons should not open a new window, does that then also apply to the subscription form? Could you please try it out?

    Out of interest: why don’t you want to open a new window?

    Regarding captcha: captcha is only shown in special cases, e.g. if you already subscribed with the same email before, or from the same IP etc, so most users won’t see a captcha.

    Hello. No it doesn’t work. I’ve also tried editing the html, from target, replaced popupwindow with _blank but nope.

    Well will the new window close by itself? I’m planning for a landing thank you page within my website.

    And personally i dont like pop windows i prefer one browser window with as many tabs as necessary, and i have a lot of other applications open so Alt+tab would be annoying, plus navigation between tabs is easier like, one is loading i go to another.

    Ok, we didn’t have this request before. We’ll see if we can integrate it into a future version.
