Sorry if this is a silly question, but I couldn’t seem to find a clear answer anywhere.

It seems that people can only open tickets from the wp admin area, is that true? Or can this plugin be used to create a form on the front end where people can submit tickets via email?

    Thanks!

    Phil

    Hi Phil,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

The plugin comes with a web widget which can be used by visitors of your site to create tickets. It does create a small button on the lower left side which reveals a form once clicked.

To enable the web widget simply go to the plugin settings page and at the lower part of the page you will find the section on Web Widget Settings. If you click on the dropdown next to Display and set it to Display the Zendesk Widget on all posts and pages. This will enable the widget on all your posts and pages and you can start receiving tickets from your wordpress site.

You will also be given a Zendesk email which could be emailed to create tickets.

I hope this has answered your question.
