open word doc

    I am trying to open a word doc from a link, but it keeps going to my downloads folder. i would like it to open the doc on the PC. I have the open in a separate window set, but the window opens, and then saves again.

  • i want to display the doc file if the post is doc or some other word file.
    if the post is text want to redirect to the post page.
    pls help
