?open_configurator=1 get load time on speed test website very slow why?

Hi there,

Any parameter added to the URL (such as ?open_configurator=1 etc…) will prevent the page cache from being used. This is why the loading time is much higher.

At the moment this behaviour is required, otherwise the configurator won’t know to open.

I’ll add a check of the URL using JS. Once that’s in, you’ll be able to add
open_configurator to the “Drop query string” setting in litespeed: https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/cache/#drop-query-string

This way you won’t loose in performance, but you’ll still be able to use open_configurator

very slow results…

is it possible that the faster way is to load normally product then click on configure?
do your plugin load in background while the main product page ois loading
so when i click configure seems more faster as response?

I ask you because i pass to your plugin and all Addons from my another configurator plugin very slow
and your seems faster
but now i do not know seems slow to load
