Opening custom post causes an WP error

  • Hi. Suddently today I tried to edit my custom posts and the action causes an WP error. When I open the post that only displays a message: There has been a critical error on the site. More information can be found in the website administrator’s email.

    None of this happens when I open a normal article or a page.

    Without knowing the actual error going on, there’s not much that we can provide any support on at the moment. Also it may be a plugin completely unrelated to CPTUI, but just happens to be happening on the edit screen for a content type registered with it. Really depends on what the error is.

    You’ll need to access your hosting panel and the error log section there to get more information on that. Alternatively, if you have been receiving an email about the issue, the email may have more information as well regarding the specific error.
