Opening links in a new page.

  • Howdy,
    I am very new to WordPress and blogging all together. I have what is probably a silly question. When a visiter clicks a link to some place to off my site I don’t want them to leave. I would rather have the link open up in a new window. How can I do this? For an example see https://www.kdknowles.com and click the Google Fights link under Fun Stuff.

  • When you’re creating the link, inside the anchor tag, put the following:

    target=”_blank”

    this tells the browser to open the link in a new window. Have a good one!
