Hello Froots – approaching wit’s end here. If anyone could be so kind as to help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I need to open a pop up in a pop up, via a text link. I have gone through the docs and ticked the boxes in both pop ups edit pages that allow other pop ups to stay open.

So I have a popup all nice and shiny. Then I try to open another popup from within its content.

In the end, after a couple of different suggestions (from the docs) were tried including the short code [popup_trigger id=”#popmake-contact-form”] in various spans and a tags, I ended up with <a href="#popmake-contact-form">Contact Me</a> But to absolutely no avail. Am I missing a class here? Or what?

*Thank you so much* for taking some time to explain to confusedfroot me what he should do in the face of this.

Resolved – unbelievably simple – for the record, in case anyone else thinks they have the same problem, the syntax is

    a tag followed by class=”popmake-7182″ title=”contact”>contact me< and close the a tag.

    Embarrasingly simple, really.

@larryfroot – Also for reference, and I will redo that doc a bit to clarify.

Method #1, the href of #popmake- only works with the numeric ID.

The popup_trigger shortcode id also accepts the numeric ID or slug, but without the popmake- it will fill in the popmake- for you.

Clad you got it working, moving classes backt to #1 method shortly as its the simplest & most reliable overall.
