Hello. I am seeking to test LiteSpeed with my websites. I am on InMotionHosting.com. They seem not to use LiteSpeed and are frankly rather slow.

I am interested in your paid services, but I have quite a few months left on an expensive plan with InMotionHosting, so am trying to get thru the next 7 months.

You mention OpenLiteSpeed. I read the informational page about it, but I do not really understand what is to be done with it. Where is this supposed to be downloaded – my host account? Or elsewhere? What am I supposed to do with it to enable the caching?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

to use OpenLiteSpeed, you will need to have your own server with root access where you can install and configure OLS

Is there any particular value in using the LiteSpeed plugin then without caching? As I said, I am shackled to this host for another 7 months…

    Hi,

Yes well , there are some optimization features, like CSS minify, JS combine, Critical CSS, image optimization …etc you can use on non-LiteSpeed server.

basically , all the plugin’s features besides caching are working for you.

    Best regards,
